1. Acceptance
By booking a trip with Tripper Hut you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions on your own behalf and on behalf of every participant in your booking.
2. Eligibility
- Participants must be 18 years or older unless explicitly accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- You self-declare that you are medically fit for the chosen difficulty level (Easy–Moderate / Moderate / Challenging).
- You must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions (asthma, cardiac issues, knee/back injuries, pregnancy, etc.) at the time of booking.
3. Bookings & payments
- A booking is confirmed only after successful payment via our payment gateway or after the agreed advance is received.
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Inclusions and exclusions for each trip are listed on the respective trip page.
4. Our role
Tripper Hut acts as a trip organiser and coordinator. We engage local homestays, transport operators, guides and other service providers. We are not liable for acts of omission or negligence by these independent third parties beyond our reasonable control.
5. Participant responsibilities
- Arrive at the meeting point on time. Late arrivals may forfeit the trip without refund.
- Carry valid government-issued photo ID at all times.
- Follow the instructions of trip leaders and local guides, especially during treks.
- Respect the environment, local communities and wildlife. Littering, plucking flora or disturbing fauna is strictly prohibited.
- Consumption of alcohol or drugs during a trek is strictly prohibited.
6. Risk & liability
Adventure travel and trekking carry inherent risks including, without limitation, injury, illness, loss of property and in rare cases death. By booking, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Tripper Hut, its founders, employees and partners shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage suffered during the trip beyond what is recoverable through standard travel insurance.
We strongly recommend that every participant carries valid travel and medical insurance.
7. Force majeure
We reserve the right to modify, postpone or cancel any trip in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, landslides, forest department restrictions, road closures, pandemics, civil unrest, or government regulations. In such cases the Cancellation & Refund Policy will apply.
8. Photography & media
Photos and videos captured during trips may be used by Tripper Hut for promotional purposes across our website and social media. If you do not wish to be featured, please inform the trip leader at the start of the trip.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
