Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellation by you
If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following refund slabs apply based on the number of days before the trip departure date:

| More than 15 days before departure | 90% of amount paid |
| 7 to 15 days before departure | 50% of amount paid |
| Less than 7 days before departure | No refund |
| No-show on the trip date | No refund |
Payment gateway charges (typically 2–3%) are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
2. Cancellation by Tripper Hut
We may cancel or reschedule a trip due to adverse weather, landslides, forest department restrictions, insufficient bookings or any other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases you will be offered, at your choice:
- A full refund of the amount paid, or
- A credit voucher valid for 12 months on any other Tripper Hut trip, or
- Reschedule to the next available batch of the same trip.
3. Refund timeline
Approved refunds are initiated within 3 business days of approval and credited to the original payment method (UPI / card / netbanking) within 7–10 business days, subject to your bank's processing time.
4. How to request a cancellation
- Email info.tripperhut@gmail.com or WhatsApp +91 81232 38823.
- Include your booking name, trip name, trip date and payment transaction ID.
- You will receive a confirmation of cancellation and the refund amount within 48 hours.
5. Non-refundable items
- Permit fees, forest entry fees and any third-party charges already paid on your behalf.
- Personal expenses incurred during the trip.
- Payment gateway transaction fees.
6. Transferring a booking
You may transfer your booking to another person up to 72 hours before departure at no extra cost, provided the replacement participant meets the trip's eligibility criteria. Write to us to initiate the transfer.
