Tripper Hut ("we", "us", "our") is a travel and adventure company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We organise treks, weekend departures and curated trips primarily across the Karnataka Western Ghats and select North Indian destinations.

• Booking details — full name, email, phone number, travel date, number of travellers and any optional message you share through our booking form.
• Payment metadata — payment status, transaction reference and amount. We do not store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank credentials. All payment data is collected and processed directly by our payment gateway (PhonePe) on their secure infrastructure.
• Communication — messages you send us over email, WhatsApp or Instagram.
• Technical data — basic device and browser information collected automatically when you visit the site.

• To confirm and operate your booking.
• To send trip details, packing lists, meeting points and post-trip follow-ups.
• To process payments and issue refunds where applicable.
• To comply with legal, tax and safety requirements.
• To improve our trips and website experience.

We only share the minimum information needed with:

• PhonePe — for processing online payments.
• Hosting and database providers — to securely store your booking record.
• Local trip partners — homestays, transport operators and guides, to deliver the experience.
• Government authorities — only when required by law or for participant safety.

We never sell your data.

We use minimal, essential cookies to keep the site functional. We do not run advertising trackers.

Booking records are retained for up to 3 years for tax, accounting and safety audit purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by writing to us. We will respond within 30 days.

Our trips are open to participants aged 18 and above unless explicitly stated. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without parental consent.
